Worming

There is a wealth of information to be found about worming and every horse has a different requirement due to their exposure and pasture management.

We recommend faecal egg counts testing poo samples to quantify how many worms are your horse has and if worming is necessary at that time.

We recommend twice yearly worming against tapeworm in the spring and autumn meaning that the non-resistant worms that can be circulating amongst the horses on a yard are kept at a low enough level to cause any issues to the horses.
