Microchipping

A microchip is a small important that has its own unique serial code.

It is inserted via injection into the left side of the horses neck. It is well very well tolerated by horses and means there is a permanent reliable way of identifying them.

The microchip number is linked to a database with owners details on, so it important to keep these up to date.

It is now required by law to have any pony or horse microchipped which can be done by our vets and the appropriate paperwork completed along side it, including amendments in their passport.
